A huge thanks and good luck is due to our Urban Agriculture Facilitator Audrey, who has recently finished up with the Sustain team. Audrey’s incredible work has turned the Urban Farm from a disused ex-landfill site into a thriving food production hub, demonstrating countless innovative urban agriculture techniques including the first wicking bed market garden set-up with WaterUps as well as feeding locals fresh, healthy produce through the Grow / Source / Eat program. Bringing in the ‘new season’ on the Urban Farm is Clare, an unstoppable advocate for fostering food systems that support both community and environment. Having finished her horticultural studies at Melbourne University, she has gone on to work for CERES, Melbourne University Community Garden, Foodshare Toronto and farms across the world. Clare is passionate about creating accessible education pathways and supporting others in their food growing journeys.
