WHAT IS PAIN ET CHOCOLAT?
It is about the taste of a childhood memory back in France. The memory of a small bar of chocolate eaten on a warm slice of bread or into a brioche bun for an afternoon snack. It is about the love of all things handmade. Pain et Chocolat sources only the highest quality local ingredients (locally & organic when possible). Variations or additions to the range are set by seasons and trends. It is a small range of chocolate bars using Felchlin single-origin couverture chocolate from Switzerland. The ingredients added to it only enhance the taste of this chocolate of the highest quality. Felchlin couverture chocolates are unique and still to be discovered by many chocolatiers and pastry chefs around Australia where the chocolate industry is widely dominated by Cacao Barry (Callebaut) and Valrhona.
